Advertisements from the past
Film, 2023
Photographer Enda Burke extended a creative invitation, to craft a video piece for his highly anticipated solo exhibition, "Far Away & Close to Home," a centerpiece of the Galway International Arts Festival 2023.
Transporting visitors to a realm of nostalgia and sentimentality, this video creation serves as an integral part of a meticulously designed set piece. A journey back in time awaits, reminiscent of the cherished sitting room in an Irish granny's home. This immersive visual experience pays homage to tradition and takes you back to a time when Pope John Paul II was the centerpiece of every Irish home.
